The favor of God will take you where your gifts and connections never will on their own. If you are feeling frustrated or hopeless because of your circumstances, begin to believe God for a release of His favor in your life and watch Him work.
God’s method of blessing His children is always through people. You could imagine there is little hope sitting in the prison, but the Lord sent His favor to Joseph through the prison warden and then Joseph was standing in the presence of King of Egypt, and then he became the 2nd in command in Egypt next to the King.
Genesis 39:21 “ the Lord was with Joseph; He showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.”
When our family visited India in 1997 and we got stuck due to visa situation.3 months passed and we could not return to USA since we were not able to produce the paperwork the Consulate wanted. My wife, daughter, son and myself joined hands and prayed through the night asking God to release favor before the consulate that he will not insist that particular document. We met the consulate the following day. The Lord indeed released a favor. The consulate general interviewed us individually and separately and asked us to book the flight. The person was stubborn until then, suddenly showed the favor of God. Interestingly we collected the passports with visa stamped the following day and returned to USA.
One day of God’s favor is worth 20 years or more of waiting. Trust in Him and you will never be disappointed.
